Review by: Zach Crane on Nov. 02, 2011 :
The author claims 'Thoughts Left Unsaid' is not erotic, but I beg to differ with him: The story is erotic as all get-out with an original plot and a happy ending.

Writing good erotica is difficult enough without trying to write subtle erotica where the author has to substitute imagery for the four-letter words. Genteel erotica is hard to write, but Alex Exley knows how. While I thought it was a little slow off the mark, once it got going, Wow!

You go into a new bookstore and pick a book at random, you like the cover or the first couple of lines. So you buy it and find out you have discovered an absolute hidden gem!
The two stories that Mr Exley has included in this free sample are simply fabulous.
Character development, imagery, pacing and execution are wonderful! Even my wife, a very harsh critic, enjoyed this one also.
I'll try not to be a spoiler and just say that the common theme of unrequited love is presented in two very different ways, but the sense of emotion and feeling comes through brilliantly.
I will be looking for more from this fine author.
