The only think wrong with this short story is that it is a short story! I would love to see the authors write a full novel about Lily, Gobher, and the rest of Gobher's goblin family. The author is witty and her short stories at fun to read. While these shorts are aimed at juvenile and young adult readers, adults will find them entertaining as well.

Renee Adams does not disappoint in this sequel to the first Ugly Kids. It's as funny as the first, and just as heartwarming. The main character, Lily, is a very believable one, despite the absurd situation and circumstances she finds herself in.
