About Z V Satterwhite

I've always had that rugged Texas spirit in my heart. Living in the remote town of Presidio, Texas made my imagination especially useful. When I was eleven my family moved to El Paso, Texas where I spent most of my life. I attended El Paso High School and it was there that I began to experience the love of writing. Then at Texas Western College now the University of Texas at El Paso I majored in history and the best of both worlds came together. Raising my family took much of my time until my childrn were grown and then I could pursue my passions...writing and painting. I live with my husband Bud, and our very small Angora kitty, Bella in El Paso, Texas.

A great weekend read! This action packed story for youth is filled with references to the 1950's that older audiences will enjoy, too. The large cast of interesting characters range wildly from a pretentious Grandmother to a jolly housekeeper to Freddy's cool classmates sporting "chukkas." Just when you think you're on one adventure, another one begins!
