About Anabel Gray

Greetings,
I am Anabel Gray I am from the Central Valley of California. I write because I love.

I study life with veracity for knowledge. My stories are a deep connection of my soul each character has a piece of me. A piece of my beliefs, turmoil, and love the relationship is complicated.

A brief history of me, I am now 50-ish, my parents were World War 2 veterans. Both have passed and I was a change of life baby for my mother. I became and eldercare giver for my parents for 16 years. I have been blessed, by being able to provide that service for my loved ones. It also came at a high price, isolation, and depression.

The stories I share come from my heart. Jane was a very big part of me in my depression. Watching your family die, Alzheimer’s, COPD and Cancer are terrible monsters. They devour people before your very eyes and I was lost. Lost not understanding why I couldn’t stop the progression. I wanted to be in control to stop the diseases. This was the root of my depression, which moved to anger, and evolved into finding what was mine to do.

My eldercare journey ended on my birthday with my mother’s death. I hope you enjoy my novel, remember I share this illustration of my journey. My heart is bare.
Love,
Anabel Gray

Interesting story. It would have so much better had it been edited at all. Way too many typos, missing punctuation, incorrect usage of words ("allowed" instead of "aloud", really?)
Good second draft for a high school senior.

As soon as I started this book I could not put it down! I was hooked and read it in two days. The characters were written so that you cared about them, and what was going to happen to them. I found myself thinking about this story long after I put it down. Excellent read! Can't wait to read her next book!

Immediately engrossed, I had a hard time putting it down as I read the story of Jane. Teresa is a talented writer and story teller. If you are looking for a new writer to read, this is on top of the list.
