Hi Mark
Yes, the rooms of our Life can be separate but also interconnected... things can be "bittersweet," but it's always our own view and strength that chooses the way we see things.
And I like, very much, how you see things.
Why are we here?
My reply is that we are all here, for the short time we have, to do one thing: help one another whenever we can.
And yet, the world shows us how cruel we can be to one another. So, we need to counter that when we can, one person to another, one day at a time.
A candy bar here... a hug there... a helping hand at all times.
We, as a species, are so much better than what the worst of us do. Even when we see things that drive another knife in our hearts... we must never slacken or show anything other than the best of us.
And you, Mark, are one of the best of us.

Another piece of interesting writing. As in the authors previous non-fiction works this creates questions for the reader. I am very keen on the compartmentalising concept and will be taking some time to build my own "house"
