[author:Kathleen Valentine|833689] is fast becoming one of my favorite new authors. Although I have yet to read one of her full length novels, this is the third short story of hers that I have read. Although all three of the stories were very different, they were all compelling, rich stories with wonderful characters and story lines. In [book:Ghosts of a Beach Town in Winter|12837614], Valentine wraps her mystery in the fog and gray weather of a tourist beach town in the off season. The setting is perfect for this eerie story with suggestions of something other worldly. Kudos, again, to Ms. Valentine. My next selection by her will certainly be one of her full fledged novels.
