Serial is a quirky little piece that will surprise you with how much impact it's characters will have. The level of change a person suffering from Stockholm Syndrome can achieve. Feeling sorry for not one, but two serial rapists. I loved the unexpected but oh so appropriate nod to the story of Brier Rabbit. I cringed and chuckled and loved every page.
Such a surreal experience. I've read so many novels by Piers Anthony, and though one can never be sure on the internet if a person is who they claim to be, he does an excellent impersonation if nothing else.

Being a female and on team "Militia", I was slightly disappointed with the outcome but it was still a good read.

All dominant/submissive relationships, if maintained, change over time. In my own work I try to portray that change from easygoing bedroom games to all encompassing ways of life. In Serial Piers Anthony shows that growth and change in non-consensual dom/sub relationship. I found that an interesting perspective to explore and ponder.
