The balance of power will determine the survival of both man and angels alike! How did this war start? it all started before A THIRD FELL! More
“Angels! I am sorry! I can’t go on,” said Deloris, as she struggled for a landing to find a place to sit.
“Ruth, her injury is bad! What do we do?” asked Aurora as she helped Deloris sit.
“Aurora, we cannot stay here! We have got to stay mobile!” frantically stated Ruth, but realized Deloris was in worse shape then before, for the poison was working faster then they thought.
“I am ready to move on…ahhh,” said Deloris as she managed to get back up again.
“Professor! No!” said Aurora while she helped Deloris try to sit. Ruth walked closer to help tend to Deloris. As Aurora looked at Ruth with concern for Deloris, she noticed enemy angels from behind some trees.
“Ruth! Look out!” screamed Aurora, but it was too late as energy bolts hit Ruth. Ruth fell to the ground, with bolts in her, one in her back, the other in her leg. Deloris got up and Retaliated, as she fired a brilliant blue energy beam from her two hands and took out the group of angels that ambushed them. After she took out the enemy, Deloris fell to the ground in pain, as she breathed heavily as a result of her battle.
“Aurora, go on! I am hurt! I will only slow us down!” said Ruth, as she painfully tried to dress her wounds with a torn piece of uniform that she was wearing.
“No! We have already lost Vivian! We are not going to lose you too!” sobbed a weak, injured Deloris. As she reached for Ruth, Aurora also grabbed Ruth‘s shoulder and cried.
“You know as well as I do, if Ogg catches us, we will fail our directive! Vivian knew this…and so do I! Professor MUST continue to carry out her orders! It is our only hope for us…for man…for the Lord. Please! Go Aurora! Please! There is no other way!” said Ruth, who remembered Vivian’s sacrifice.
“May God be with you,” said Deloris as she painfully stood to prepare for her journey.
“May God be with both of you! Now go! Hurry! You do not have much time!” said Ruth, as she waited for Ogg and his angels. As Aurora and Deloris took flight, Ruth stood at a battle stance and waited for the enemy to come into range.
“No! Wait! This angel looks like she is in a similar stance as the last one! Take to the sky! Warriors! Take that angel out!” commanded Ogg as he and the band of evil enemy angels took flight towards Ruth.
Ruth knelt down on the ground, with her hands together in prayer, she closed her eyes briefly with these few words, “My Lord, forgive me for my sins against you, for my eyes are now wide open. Have mercy on me, My Lord! May my enemies fall before me…and may Deloris complete her mission. In Your Holy Name!”
After she completed her prayer, she yelled in a thunderous melodic voice to Ogg,
“Oh, Ogg, I have a gift for you!” said Ruth with a hardy laugh. She slammed her hands to the ground, and then raised them to the air with palms of her hands up, with these words:
“RIGHTOUS RAIN OF FIRE!” thundered Ruth as she ordered a powerful angelic command with a smile.
“Quickly, gain height before the ground opens up!” shouted Ogg as he gained altitude, but notice that this angelic command was very different from the one Vivian gave.
“Something is wrong…why is the sky starting to glow bright orange? NO…NO…NO!! Angels! Land immediately!!! Take cover! TAKE COVER!!” screamed Ogg, who realized that they were in dire straights while in the air!
Nevertheless, it was indeed too late! The sky opened up! At first, it started with a few drops of rain. The enemy warriors laughed with following chuckles as they pause for a moment. Then it became a steady heavy down pour of water. Then the unthinkable happened! The down pour of water turned into hailstones of lava, fire and brimstones! The unfortunate angels in the air were on fire, and knocked to the ground! Some tried to land in flames, while boulders of lava rock landed on others!
“Ogg! You should surrender, for that is a little taste of what awaits you in hell!” thundered Ruth.
