Some days I’m awesome. Today, I sucked. Tomorrow I will be better.

I will forever remember what the father did when their autistic son ruined his mother’s cell phone. I won’t give away the ending – but it is priceless! And there are few books on autism written by fathers. The book is informative, poignant and engaging.
As a psychologist in California who diagnoses autistic spectrum disorders, I follow the literature as much as time permits. Seems to me there are multiple tributaries that funnel into the lake of autistic spectrum disorders. Some children are fine and then lose language typically around 18-24 months. Others are not social and resist physical contact from birth and are not babbling by a year old. Perhaps some of my postings on Autistic Specrum Disorders may help others raising children with autism. Take a look at: www.freedomOK.net
A very good book. Perhaps the author could post some Resources (and update them regularly) for dads on his blog.
