The Alchemy of Life Coaching

This is a collection of real life ‘stories’ from my life coaching clients and the sessions I had with them, warts and all. It shows their problems and challenges, how I worked with them, their Aha! moments and the outcome of their coaching sessions. I have also included a collection of the blogs/articles I have written over the years on life and personal development. More

About Anna Bradbury

I was born and bred in Rotorua, New Zealand and I have had a very interesting life which includes marriage, children, work, friends, travel, illness, injuries, moving house and countries etc. Most of the work I did was for profit-making organisations but after experiencing the satisfaction that comes from being an advocate and making life better for someone in need, I knew that my calling was to work with and on behalf of others. I became involved with community organisations both in a paid and voluntary capacity including the areas of mental health, hospice, woodlands (UK), ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and U3A (University of the Third Age). Along with my then husband, I created, produced, wrote for and edited our own inspirational magazine for two years in NZ. After letting that go, at the end of April 2008, we moved to London to experience a different kind of life and to go traveling where we co-wrote a book together, The Twelve Week Miracle.

Even as a very young girl, I knew I wanted to help people. I grew up with interests in psychology and psychiatry, and exploring how the mind works and changes - I felt drawn to this line of work. I have always believed that we are more than just bodies - our mental and spiritual health is of great importance.

When I discovered and trained in life coaching in 2013, I found it brought together a lot of the psychological disciplines that I had studied but in a more practical, future-minded manner. I love working with people of all ages to build strategies that lead to their success in life.
