Good read. I just finished reading this short story and I must say, it was an enjoyable read. It is a contemporary story set in Afghanistan of a pilot's routine ferrying of troops that goes bad and requires special operations interventions to rescue the survivors from the enemy's hands. There are very graphic action scenes (may not recommended for younger readers) with good character and plot development. Even though the short story is a complete tale, it seems that the intention is to make this into a regular series. It should prove to be very entertaining. I would like to see more of these characters.
