The book in Tumble's World is a masterpiece, and the artistic illustrations reveal P.M. Kearns many talents. I loved the story.
You must read the life experience of Tumble, his friends and Fox Hollow many times over. This book reminds me of going down a beautiful road everyday and always discovering someone and something new. There is so much to explore in the world of Tumble. Many lessons could be learned by reading this book.
In Tumble’s World should be incorporated into school curriculum. It would lead to great classroom discussion
and enforce many needed moral values. It could become a classic.
In Tumble’s World is a must read 5 Star book.

I read this again as a whitebeard myself, soon to disappear. I admire their pansophy. I have yet to achieve such knowledge and in my remaining time will probably fall short of actual membership in the Whitebeard Society.
Certainly, In Tumble’s World was required reading for all those Whitebeards. How else could they have acquired such wisdom?
The writing is filled with lush imagery and imaginative metaphors as well written as anything I have ever read. The author’s knowledge of Frog Hollow’s flora is most impressive for a non-botanist
I long to read this to my son and be able to discuss its themes and life lessons with him. But this cannot be.
It is of course a work viewed as a children’s book that has meanings for all ages. It is a wonder that it took so long to publish In Tumble’s World.
Will there be a screenplay for the animated version? Is the sequel The Adventures of Tumble? Translation into other languages?
It’s a shame a map of Frog Hollow and environs is missing as I would like to follow Tumble’s adventures on it.
Sometimes progress enriches the few at the expense of the many, All too often this is the case. Not even a paradise like Tumble’s world is immune from the effects of greed and the parasties that feed off it.
It is a hard lesson that what you love the most can be taken from you.
But you must soldier on and as Rodgers and Hammerstein collaborated:
“Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone”.
Tumble makes so many friends that he never has to walk alone. He finds willing hands and guidance wherever he goes. So it is with all of us.

I have found this book to be "Enchanting". I loved every endearing word written from beginning to end. The message it delivers stays in your mind long after reading it. You will never look at a tree in the same light again, or a flower, or nature itself... The illustrations are wonderful..... I hope soon, that I may be able to have a paperback copy of this book so I may carry it with me, and pass it down to my Grandsons'and thus, they may pass it to theirs... In short.... I love this book.... and I am in awe of its author...
