Chapter One: May 12, 6014

My head feels like a chunk of lead sitting on a fragile, slender stalk. It seems like, if I try to move it, it probably will tear off my body and roll away. Yes, this is gravity. I have felt its paralyzing effects before on Earth’s Moon and on Mars. I hated it then and I hate it now. I’m exaggerating as I have some muscle strength and I’m developing even more, very quickly. My body wants to survive.
