I’m woken from a blurry slumber with the demon whispering in my ear. Soft soothing tones put a smile on my whiskered face. The other is asleep.
“Come” it says, “let’s go for a walk.”
The voice is erotic and leading; it doesn’t take much before I’m a slave, ready to be lead. My eyes are frosted over as the demon clears the way. It takes on many shapes and guises, suitable for all occasions, rain or shine; sleet or snow does nothing to stop the evil train. The door is open and cold air revives me, Demon says,
“Go on, you can trust me, do it for all those before you that didn’t.”
I believe it; I have no shame in embracing the words. Deceitful and untrue to others, precise and exact to me. It changes shape and my hands wrap around this new monster, my ears are on fire,
“Just a sip” I hear, “no one will know.”
I strain for sound and I hear none. Wetness explodes around my mouth’s insides and sets off a million detonations within my brain,
