I need to hide some cash, gold coins and a handgun (plus spare magazines and ammunition) in my bedroom. First, let me describe the bedroom.
The room is a typical 11 x 12 room with one single window. The closet is a walk-in. There is a ceiling light and a hard-wired smoke detector. I have a queen sized bed on a metal bed frame. On either side of the bed, there is a nightstand. Each nightstand has two drawers. On one nightstand I have a small lamp and my alarm clock. I have three wooden bookcases along one wall. (I’m a retired teacher.) There is a four-foot light-weight table on another wall with my computer printer (and other junk) on it. In the floor there is a hot air vent and another vent in the door to allow for air circulation. On the floor I have carpet and paneling on the walls. The ceiling is dry walled with a textured pattern.
