Authors note* My drive home from work every night is a lonely windy road that I travel at about two o'clock in the morning. I think this story came about when I was kind of freaking myself out one night because I was seeing things and was extremely exhausted.

The final bell rang. Richard made his way to the time clock and punched out. It had been a long night. His back ached , his legs hurt, and he could barely keep his eye's open.

"Can't wait to get home and crawl in my nice warm bed!" He told a fellow co-worker as he got a cup of coffee from the vending machine. "Well, see ya tomorrow!" Richard walked out of the plant and headed to his car.

It was a nice summer night. The air smelt of burning leaves and the sky was lit up by a full moon. He went to set the coffee on the roof of his caprice and the cup tipped over and spilt hot liquid all over the crotch of his jeans.

"Ouch! Son of a bitch!" Richard was yelping while holding his private and jumping up and down like a little kid that has to go pee. Hoping there was no one around to see his little dance, he hopped in his beast and fired her up. The engine roared to life and he backed up and pulled out of the parking lot.
