“Three Souls Intertwined”

Looking across at Mr. Edward Crane, my mother’s attorney, with his white hair, mustache, and beard sitting tall in his chair. I knew in my heart my life would change after the reading of my mother’s will. Will it be for better or worse? I wondered.
“Ms. Landcaster, are you okay?” asked Mr. Crane.
Hearing Mr. Crane’s voice, Abbey focused back on the matter at hand.
“I’m sorry, but it’s just so hard. I miss her so much already,” said Abbey.
“I’m so sorry for your loss, Ms. Landcaster. Are you ready for me to read your mother’s will?”
“Yes, please do, Mr. Crane.”
“Here we go:
I, Jessica Landcaster, being of sound mind and body, will all my belongings to the ‘People with Needs’ program. That is what my only daughter, Abbey Landcaster, doesn’t want. I will my house, vehicle, and money to my only daughter, Abbey Landcaster.
