FOREWORD

This book is dedicated to the physicians and other health care providers in the state of Florida who work with a myriad of rules and regulations and can increase the good that they do for patients by advertising for the type of patient and medical needs that they prefer to treat.

We are pleased to have been able to summarize these rules in an easily digestible form, using a format where the rule is explained concisely, followed by the actual language of the statute or regulation, and examples of how these have been applied to Florida physicians. The authors welcome any questions, comments or suggestions on this text.
