Single lamppost at the end of that city block seemed to be on it’s last moments of light, as Helen walked further down that street to her destination.
The building she was going to was located two doors down from the corner. She pulled the invitation from her tan coat pocket and approached 851.
Reaching for the silver door handle, she was taken aback by someone pulling from the other side.
“You are right on time” Man with pencil thin moustache, in his early 20’s smiled at this visitor and held the door open for her.
Helen was puzzled at this occurrence, as she entered the building. Motioning a few feet inside of the glass doors, “Are you expecting me?”
Closing the door and twisting the lock behind himself, he walked in front of Helen and smiled sheepishly, “Most definitely, ma’am” His light blonde hair was parted to the left and that moustache gave off a golden glint from the lights in the ceiling above them. “
