The Princess Bride has always been with me. I don’t remember the first time I saw the film, though I’m pretty sure I did not see it during its theatrical release and only stumbled across it on video. But I can’t remember a time before The Princess Bride, a time in which I did not have its wit and snark to guide me through life in all its pain. And I can say that life is pain with a smile, nay, a happy-go-lucky grin, because the Man in Black said so right here in this silly, wonderful, perfectly perfect movie.
