Ormr the dragon sat on the top of the hill, picking his teeth. It had been a good nights hunting. Seventeen sheep and one shepherd. No one had seen him, apart from the shepherd, so no one would be following him. He didn’t much care for the taste of the shepherd but mutton was his favourite. He didn’t even mind having to pick the wool from his teeth, as long as he started from his top right tooth and finished at the bottom left one. That was one of Ormr’s rules

He had once tried to capture a cow but it was just too heavy that he had to let it go. It did make a wonderful splat when it hit the ground, but he had left it as he never ate anything that he had dropped. That was another of Ormr’s rules. Dragons were sticklers about their rules and Ormr had a lot of rules.
