Once upon a time...

Long, long ago and far, far away, there was a jungle that was not like any other jungle. It was not an easy place to live, in fact it was very hard. Finding food was very difficult and so there were always lots of fights between the animals and in particular the lions. The lion that fought his way to the top would get the pick of the food and so he had to be very strong. The King of this jungle was a lion called Kev.

King Kev wanted everybody in the jungle to know that he was the King and that he was in charge. Every morning and every night and sometimes during the day he roared at the top of his voice and what a roar it was too. All the other lions and animals quivered with fear whenever they heard his roar. King Kev was a big proud lion. When he walked he would hold his head high. He commanded authority and respect. He only had to look at another lion and they KNEW what he meant. He was the King and his name was Kev, King Kev.

One day when King Kev was strutting around in his usual manner he heard a loud cry, so he went to investigate. His wife Lilly the Lioness came to him and said.
“You are now a father. You have the beautiful son that you always wanted.”
Well, King Kev was so proud he didn’t know what to do. He roared and roared and roared and each time he roared louder and louder and louder. He wanted everybody to know that he had a son and he was a beautiful little lion cub. He was a very proud father. He was a very proud King.
