New Orleans, November 20, 1822.
Son of noted ship builder, Rodolphe Boisclair, found dead!
Alexandré Boisclair was found dead at the hand of his tenant, mademoiselle Marie Adrienne Jolivet, daughter of the late Jean Philippe Jolivet, at his house on Rue Orleans. Though the motives are yet unknown, we can all surmise the reasons.
Monsieur Boisclair was to wed Edmée Comtois, daughter of Armand Comtois, the very evening he met his fate. Though the quadroon Jolivet has been tied to the deceased in the past, the distraught mademoiselle Comtois assures us said rumors are all untruths.
