The Dictionary defines ‘ground’ as being the surface of the Earth, and the connecting of an electrical current to the Earth through a conductor. It defines ‘center’ as being the middle of a place, having equal distance on all sides. These are, perhaps, the best definitions of grounding and centering I have ever come across.
