It started with a knock on the door. This was at university, in my first year when I was still living in halls. All the sections and all the floors in halls are separated off from one another, so when I heard that knock I naturally assumed it was one of my friends or flatmates. Setting down my cup of tea, I shut the lid of my laptop I wheeled my desk chair over and opened the door. There stood a girl; one that I had never met before. I blinked in surprise.

"Hi," she said. "Sorry to bother you."

I was so surprised that for a moment I didn't know what to say. She was a pretty enough specimen. Short, curvy and blonde, with wide hips and big breasts. Her hair hung down to just above her shoulders, and her face was very prettily made up. A strand of tinsel glittered on her wrist. For some reason she stood a little hunched, as though embarrassed or afraid.

"Sorry to bother you," she said again. "Are you busy?"

I shrugged. "No. Not really, no."
