In a quiet neighborhood like any other, a man prowls in search of passion. Something alien inside him is drawing him to the homes of women who dream of desperate desire.

The woman is getting ready for bed. She languidly goes through her normal routine, locking doors and turning off lights before heading to her bedroom. She pads through into the bathroom, washes her face and brushes her teeth. She spends a few extra moments staring at her reflection. Her face is smooth and emotionless, but her heart is pounding. She wants. She desires. Something is coming, someone to fill the emptiness inside her, but she doesn't know who. Or when. She slides fingers down the sides of her face, smiles a bit and then leaves the room.

Back in her bedroom she slips off the thick terrycloth robe and drapes it over the foot of the bed. She shivers, camisole and panties her only protection from the cool night air wafting in through the narrow open slit in the window, and climbs between the soft, cream-colored sheets. There, her creamy pale skin seems to match perfectly and only her shock of wavy red hair stands out. She flicks off the light and closes her eyes with a soft sigh. She wishes there was another person in the bed. A man to take her, cherish her, please her. She briefly rubs at her breasts, aching to be touched. She falls asleep with her mind full of wanting.
