I freaking hate spiders!
As a youngster of about seven or eight, I was on a camping trip in Ocala National Forest. As it tends to do in Florida, there was a torrential rain in the middle of the night. That was no big deal. When I woke in the morning to run off and explore the woods, I shoved my foot in my sneakers that sat just outside the tent all night. The pain that shot up my leg was horrendous. I got my foot out of the shoe to discover a huge, nasty, hairy spider wrapped around my big toe. Ever since that day, I have had a (some may call it irrational) fear of the dreaded spidey!
