I always did this when I was alone at night, especially when I didn’t have to get up for work the next day: I’d sit on the deck chair with my can of cider, and look up into the sky from my balcony.
I didn’t have an interesting life, average in every way. I went to work, invited my friends around for drinks, and went to the gym. That was all. When I didn’t have anything else to do, I’d sit here on this balcony. I didn’t mind being alone, apart from the lack of sex! However, I figured that living with someone else, especially one of those demanding kinds of women, would overwhelm me.
I stared up into the night sky, and took a sip of my cider. God, life didn’t get much better than this. The sky glowed, especially clear tonight, and no smog clouds or pollution hid the wonderful canvas in the sky, covered with thousands of stars, and of course, that wonderful crescent moon.
