Destiny had always been an outdoors type of woman, even as a child. She always enjoyed the trips she took with her family into the mountains. Her favorite vacation spot was the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. As a child she never really fit in with the other children, and she always felt at home when she was surrounded by the trees and the animals. Her family would always tease her by saying that she would be the first human female to marry an animal. Destiny would scowl and grumble under her breath. When Destiny got older, she would still go back to the mountains and get lost in the sounds of nature.
She had just got promoted to partner at her firm, and that meant relocation. The promotion was what she had always wanted, but it meant she would not be able to vacation again for a few years. Aware of this, she saved up two weeks of time and was looking forward to two full weeks in the mountains. No people, no electronics, no annoying co-workers, just her and Mother Nature. . It was going to be sweet bliss. She smiled at these thoughts and continued to pack. She made sure she had everything she needed for her trip all packed and ready. She would be leaving in two days and wanted to make sure nothing was left behind.
