It was mizzling with rain so Jana missed the entrance to Marshland School, half obscured by a thick bush. She braked quickly and began to reverse. With a terrible ear-splitting screeching of metal her car shuddered to a halt. Jana’s head jerked forward. The seat belt tightened painfully across her chest. The air bag inflated, expelling all the air out her lungs. She almost blacked out.
