CHAPTER 1: A Lasting Friendship
It had been almost two months to the day since when Koby’s German Sheperd dog, Gordon, discovered something that looked like a small furry ball hidden one foot underneath a pile of dirt. Of course the green thing that was not much bigger than a golf ball was in fact an alien from Jupiter’s first moon, Moon Jargow.
The cute alien known as Welbo was a Greenwick. The Greenwicks were a highly adaptable species that could breathe both oxygen and carbon dioxide through tiny holes in their skin. They also had many other abilities that humans didn’t possess. One that Koby and his best friend from across the road, Samantha, had already discovered. A Greenwick can learn languages extremely quickly.
Welbo had demonstrated this by speaking with their dog, Gordon. Later at the park, he helped the Queen Mardella who was part of a royal family of black swans to communicate to the ducks of the lake.
