It all started when I was born. I remember when I was five I got my first pair of glasses. I have lived in Iowa all my life. I have loved it here for the most part. I was told about my disability when I could understand a little bit more about it. My mom told me that I was strangled pretty much in the womb. I had been to so many doctors that told my mom, they didn’t think I could survive on my own. Well the doctors were right in one way. I can’t stand it when other people would tease me. I was teased a lot when I was younger. They always called me four eyes. They also called me other names I’m not going to mention.
