Viktor Borruksson Stonehammer was one of the mountain folk. Not one of the wilderness men that trapped, and hunted for furs. He did not pan the streams for gold. He was not one of the men of the mountains. He was one of the men in the mountains. He was a black smith by trade, not uncommon for his people. They dwelled deep in the maze of shafts and tunnels within the mountain always mining for precious gems.
The constant expansion of mines produced a large amount of ore for these industrious people, and many of them were master craftsman in turning the ore into useable items. Viktor lived near the top of the mountain in his forge. The mountain was called Mount Hifolk, named after the hill folk that lived inside.
He was not a weapon smith, nor did he craft in the finer metals of silver or gold. He was just a plain black smith. He made his living making plows horse shoes and other farming implements that he would export to the surrounding towns and villages.
Like most of the other men in the hills Viktor was a solitary man that enjoyed his privacy. It allowed him to be able to work on his projects at his leisure when he felt like it. He had the strong arms of a smith, and the long flowing beard that was a popular fashion of his people.
