Patience put her hands on her knees, panting after her jog, and listened as Patricia talked. When she had caught her breath, Patience straightened, and watched Patricia, who had really gotten into her stride. Patience warmed down and finished, half an hour later, and Patricia was still talking.

Patience went to the kitchen to drink water, and Patricia followed her, talking, talking, and talking. Patience felt herself enveloped by a fury that she had never felt before. She took several deep breaths to calm herself, then she went to the lounge. Patricia followed her.
