Adelle's Night

About the Author

The journey you're about to take is neither outside the world you know nor within the comfortable grasp of that which you can call reality.

Somewhere there is a hole, a place under the door or in a shadow or buried in your subconscious. It's a hole that never ends. Like Schroedinger's cat, the things you imagine are both there and not there.

When you check the closet and turn on the lights, you know what's real, just like a dreamer knows a dream after he wakes up. But what if the dream never ended? Or worse, what if the dream was reality, and only now are you asleep?

Tonight's story is about a girl who, as far as she's concerned, is as ordinary as they come.
