No one went near the east corner of the factory, and that was just the way Alex liked it.
Her world was a dimly lit one, punctuated by bright, shining sparks from her wielding torch as she bent over the plates and quickly applied wields to the corners. There was a large metal press there. The big plates would roll forward into the press, which would bend them, and then Alex would wield the corners together before it moved on.
