*Although I’m not ashamed of who I am, or what I’ve done names such as my own have been changed to respect the privacy of my family, which I love with all my heart. Money can’t buy love. All events written in this memoir are 100% true, even though they are wacky, random, and I myself would have a hard time believing them if they didn’t happen to me. I hope you enjoy my story! Remember while money will help you get from point A to B, some of the best things in life are for free.
1Ass-ettes- The Back End Of My Story
I’ve stopped traffic, but never did I once think growing up in a small town in Iowa would I almost be human trafficked. The idea of it seemed so foreign and far away from the world I grew up in, as if it only happened in Lifetime movies. After eighteen years of living on a farm in a town where not only everybody knew each other’s name, but second cousin marriages were encouraged, I broke out of my Pentecostal, over protective, parents safe haven and flew away from home when I became a flight attendant based out of New York City. I guess I was too naïve to be scared and ignorance is bliss, because I left for New York with no fear and just a few hundred bucks to my name.
