He’d recognize that tumble of dark hair and flash of hazel eyes anywhere. Anywhere but here!

Nolan’s little sister, all grown up, was the bartender his buddy Derek wanted to introduce him to. She flashed that megawatt smile she’d always been famous for to a guy at the other end of the bar, laughed and handed him a beer. Derek raised two fingers and she made her way over.

Recognition flared in her eyes as she took in his dark hair and deep blue eyes but she didn’t say anything as Derek introduced them. “This is my good friend James Michaels. James, this is Gracelynn Hall.”

She shook his hand, that sunny smile warm and friendly even as her gaze turned wary. “Pleasure,” she said. “What can I get you boys?”

I’ll have coke and rum,” Derek said.
