Henry,

There are times that when you pull me into an embrace I allow myself to let go; to falter in that new awareness that consumes me now. It is a vigilance that my beaten heart has taken up and it was birthed from your discretions and your disinterest. With it silenced, I allow myself to simply be entranced by the texture of your skin as it moves slowly beneath mine own; to be lost in the smell of your hair and neck. There are no emotions or thoughts. I'm humming inside; set alight by the most basic and elementary nature of the human spirit. I'm drunk off of your physicality and the sensations that it produces in my own body.
