It seems like every other month a new type of diet comes out with each one promising to be the greatest secret to weight loss that there ever was. And with the new diets, thousands of people do lose weight. But how many keep the weight off? How long before they move on to the next diet? It is a cycle and I surely was one of these people. It was at this stage I found out I was borderline diabetic and had high cholesterol. I was devastated and made a promise to myself. This time I really wanted to lose weight and keep it off for good. I was lied to and I was the one lying to myself.
