Reluctantly, he sits down in the Captain’s chair on the Enpassant. Her captain sits to his left and the first officer sits in a chair about a half of a length behind him. This Xenonian vessel and the two escort ships with it are the smallest combat ready vessels he’s encountered, that are capable of releasing fighters. The unique design of these ships make them powerful allies, or vicious foes. He’s grateful they are his allies, even if not allies of his planet. What makes him uncomfortable is being afforded the same rights as their fleet commander. These are her ships to command, her orders to make, but as they came upon the rendezvous point she left the improvised fleet under his orders. The Enpassant is the lead vessel, so he remains here, on her bridge, in command of her ships.
