“That guy has been checking you out for, like, 20 minutes,” Charlie said, nodding his head towards the other end of the bar. I risked a peek and locked eyes with the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. Clean-cut blonde hair, chiseled cheekbones, piercing blue eyes—perfect.
“Don’t fuck with me,” I warned, trying to tear my eyes away. “I am in a dry spell right now, and if that man is the man that breaks it—”
“No bullshit,” Charlie laughed, punching my arm. “And let me tell you, if you think his face is good, the ass on that man—”
“Stop!” I groaned, feeling my cock twitch in my pants. It really had been a long time.
“Let’s go dance,” Charlie offered, downing the last of his beer. “He saw you looking. He’s totally going to come dance with you.”
I finished my own drink, slamming the glass onto the table. “Let’s do it!” Stereotype or not, you really couldn’t find a better place for dancing than Close Encounters, the city’s premiere—and, let’s be honest, only—gay bar. We wormed our way through crowds of dancing men and a few women, finally finding a clear spot close to the center of the dance floor to claim for our own. I lost sight of the handsome mystery man as we got into the beat, but sure enough, I saw him working his way towards us with purpose, his hips moving in a way that made my mouth dry.
