Chapter 1

Geoff had met his wife right out of college. Both were on the fast track to being what they had wanted to be in life. Geoff swore that Annie was the one and when he proposed to her, he said that was it for him.

Geoff was tall. Six feet, two inches. He had reddish brown hair and blue green eyes. He was built well from high school football and the rigorous workouts at the academy. He was told by his friend’s wives that he was good looking, but didn’t take much stock in it because he felt that his marriage was more important than other women’s opinion.

Annie was lucky if she hit five feet, having a slight build, and had dusty blond hair. Her green eyes were her prettiest feature and she could capture you in her eyes. She had found men would flirt with her when she wasn’t with Geoff. She liked the attention and would flirt back.
