Joe…Assistant to Mr. Green
Charlie…Assistant to Mr. Green
(Maisy and Betty are two hard working parlour maids and as a rare treat they have been given a day off. They cannot decide what to do with their day.)
This is a right rare treat I must say Betty.
Can you imagine Maisy, having a whole day off, all to ourselves.
Whatever shall we do?
We could go for a bicycle ride.
But we don't have a bicycle.
Then we shall walk.
Let's go to the market, that's always fun.
I've got three shillings.
You must have saved hard, I've only got one and sixpence.
So we'll be very careful what we spend it on. Come on let's go.
