There are many different methodologies when it comes to training with weights or engaging in resistance training. For the most part, they can be classified into two camps, high volume training (traditional) and high intensity (scientifically-based). There are many variations of training within each, and each method has many successful bodybuilders that have used it. High volume training is the accepted method for most bodybuilders due to the relatively recent history of high intensity training and the fact that marketers of bodybuilding supplements, weight equipment and muscle magazines have promoted it extensively.
