Snap . . ! Twig . .? Sally Wentham’s lips purse together then breath out a shush, she only just got the polar bear to agree to go for a drink with her after a confrontation that seemed to last too long and she didn’t want him distracted or give him an excuse to walk away again. An indirect light caught the tips of his fur turning them gold as he held the door for her. His fur looks so soft and warm she wants to curl up in it but he has so much to tell her and she needs time to hear it all. Annoyed by a burbling sound in the background, Sally’s lips shush again. With a drink in her hand she watches the polar bear smile at her joke, his eyes looking in to hers with delight. The polar bear is about to tell her his name when something hits her in the back.
