"I like weird, but only the good kind," She said, circling the small square room and pausing in front of one of the many holo-recorders. She wore fake black leather pants that clung to her skin, a long-sleeved black shirt studded with shiny steel studs, thick-rimmed black glasses, and purple lipstick on her obscenely thick lips. She'd gathered most of her curly black hair into a ponytail, but a few long lazy strands had crept out to lie on the sides of her face.
"Define weird," Her computer asked. She shrugged, paced around the room faster, her fake leather boots clopping and echoing.
"I don't know. Not creepy. A weird I can be comfortable with."
She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose for a moment, then shook her head and chuckled. "You just have to be a hard ass today, don't you? Let me think. Let me think..." She crossed her arms as she walked and nibbled on the edge of her lip. Then she yipped and flailed her arms in the air a moment before settling into her old gait. "Comfortable weird... What kind of weird am I comfortable with? Watching a horror movie with lots of blood and sawed off limbs and stuff like that while calmly eating turkey soup. Turkey soup! Liking stuffed pink dinosaurs, but also heavy metal music. Cradle of Filth, but also Britney Spears and Taylor Swift. TOOL, Nine Inch Nails, but also Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. I don't like swearing, and yet my favorite authors swear on every page it seems like. Jason Myers..."
