Regardless of whether you are suffering because lethal locusts, cancerous cankerworms, calamitous caterpillars or poisonous palmerworms have destroyed your assets and you are now languishing in a valley surrounded by the very dry bones of your dead health, dead relationships, dead businesses, dead career or dead ministry, understand that you have to combine spiritual, mental, verbal and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry and fight for restoration.
The first spiritual intervention is to pray and ask God to help you. Learn from Martha and Mary when their brother Lazarus became sick for The sisters sent a message to Jesus saying, “Lord, the one whom You love is sick.” (John 11:3)
Therefore, begin sending your prayers to the Lord once you notice signs of loss in any department of your life.
As you pray, use Scriptures since Bible verses are the foundation of Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17) Scriptures that you can use as your Spiritual warfare prayers include:
1. Father God, as you restored to the Israelites all the years that the locusts, cankerworms, caterpillars and palmerworms (Joel 2:25) had eaten, I ask you in the name of Jesus to restore to me all the years that the multiple problems in my life have wasted.
2. Father God, Your word says, “I will open your graves and cause you to come out from your graves” (Ezekiel 37:12) and therefore I ask you in the name of Jesus to open up this grave (name your grave e.g. debt, divorce, depression, unemployment) I have been buried in and cause me to come out of it.
As you pray, believe that God will help you since faith in God and in His Word one of the weapons that we need to use to fight our spiritual warfare and the only weapon that is able to neutralize all the darts of the enemy.
Learn also from Martha the importance of believing in God and in His ability because when Jesus asked for Lazarus’ tomb to be opened, she told Him that there would be a stench since Lazarus had been dead for four days but Jesus replied, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)
