In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1) and on the sixth day, God said, “Let us create man in our image, in our likeness, and let him rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female He created them (Genesis 1:26-27). God then gave authority to man to rule over all He had created until man committed high treason and handed over the authority to the devil. The good news is God sent His son to deliver us from sin as well as to redeem the authority that was handed over to the devil by Adam.
