Chapter 1




Allow me to begin by stating that I’m not insane.

Then again, would a crazy person say anything else? Once you’ve gone over, crossed the line, your every action is just another nail in the coffin of your sanity. The very act of defending your mental state invites doubt about it. Anything you say or do is viewed under the light of this doubt. Your thoughts cease to be thoughts and become delusions. Suspicion morphs into paranoia. Arguments turn into denial: the more you argue your point, the more removed you are from reality.
